Dr. Fabian Zohren is a physician-scientist and biotechnology executive with more than 15 years of experience leading the development of innovative oncology therapies from early clinical research through global registration. Most recently, he served as Chief Medical Officer of Merus, where he led the global clinical development and medical strategy for the company’s portfolio of multispecific antibody therapeutics. Previously, he served as Chief Medical Officer of ImmunoGen, where he played a key leadership role in the development and approval of ELAHERE®, the first FRα-targeting antibody-drug conjugate approved for patients with ovarian cancer.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Zohren held senior clinical development leadership positions at Pfizer, where he led global development programs for Xtandi® and Talzenna®, overseeing multiple Phase 3 registrational studies across prostate and breast cancer. He is recognized for his expertise in clinical development strategy, translational medicine, regulatory interactions, and building high-performing organizations focused on delivering transformative cancer therapies.

Dr. Zohren earned his MD and PhD from Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, completed his clinical training in hematology and oncology, and served as a research scholar at Baylor College of Medicine’s Center for Cell and Gene Therapy. He currently serves as an independent director for MBrace Therapeutics’ Board of Directors.
