Dr. Pasqualini is a Professor (tenured), and the Inaugural Chief of the Division of Cancer Biology at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, Rutgers University Medical School. Her distinguished career includes training at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, Harvard Medical School, and the Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute. Over 14 years at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, she held the Buchanan and Seeger Endowed Chair as Professor of Medicine, Cancer Biology & Experimental Diagnostic Imaging. Dr. Pasqualini is an internationally recognized expert in vascular biology, metastasis, and angiogenesis. She originally co-developed in vivo phage display, leveraging combinatorial library selection systems (peptide- and antibody-based) to discover, validate, and exploit the vascular biochemical diversity of endothelial cell surfaces towards a new targeted pharmacology.
